the game is nice and I like the graphic style.
the scripts are solid and smooth.
the only issue for me is the fact that the motorbike react too fast when pressing the buttons and it's quite difficult to drive it.
I don't know if this is a problem only for me, because I am from the old generation and when I was gaming hard, the mouse was not used a lot in games, so we are used to move pressing the arrows with the right hand and do other stuffs with the left. so I definitely have not much sensibility on the left hand to correctly move a motorbike with such sensible and fast reactions.
I'd love to see this with the option to move with arrows and aim with WASD. :)

anyway, the real reason for my rating is the lack of leaderboard.
this game loses all its sense without the challenge of a score ranking..

But you can move with the arrows O:

the graphic is nice and the gameplay is fun and addictive. the controls are a bit uneasy but that's one of the particularity of the game. you definitely need a very sensible touch to control the car, and when the speed increases it's a real challenge.

but you need a leaderboard to fuel the ranking challenge among players! :)

also, there is a bug which add the musics more than once and it ends to be a chorous of noise..

anyway, well done!

TreSensa responds:

Thanks for such a high rating as well as the suggestions, Pikkio!

It's a very cool game, especially the graphics!

Though It's a bit complicated to surf around the many options and features (shop, equipping, stats, etc..), and I think the stock market is probably adding more confusion than being fun to have..

I felt a bit lost on first approaching the equipping section, it took me a couple of stages before realizing how to switch slot from the top and then equip something.

the thing I don't like more is that you can't jump.. I feel handicapped just walking around (at the beginning you also walk soooo slow) in the middle of a gun fight.. in general is barely impossible to avoid the bullets, so you just stay there and take them all aimin carefully for an head shot, and you do better than trying to move around to distract the enemies, who then are less easy to hit on the head cause they move.

I've experienced the bug as well.
you have to play for a few levels (think was 4th), then you end a level and after the stats screen, you click on equipment or any other section and it move the main wheel without loading anything on the selected panel. and if you reload the game and select continue, the bug it's still there.

the most suspicious clue in my case was that when it crashed, I had looted a ring (the strength one) which I had already previously looted and equipped, so maybe there is some recurring variable which cause an infinite loop?

hope this helped you to fix it.

Cool game though!

tedgaming responds:

Thanks! Hmm... I don't think it's a ring problem. Try continuing your game, then exit to the main menu, go to save data, export it, then import it, and then start a new game plus and see if the bug is still there. If it is, then it really might be a ring problem and giving me the export code would help immensely. I haven't heard back from anyone yet so I'm not sure if the problem persists after exporting and importing the game again.

ONly 2 stars, but I see this is just a demo, and the game has potential.

- you should definitely give more time before the first crates appears when you start. I die 3 times on 5 hitting the first crates.. -_-

- the stickman should not keep running when is in middle air

- crates arrive slower than the clouds and this feels very weird..

- use bigger coins icons, maybe different sizes or colors or something else to avoid writing the value

- you need more kinds of obstacle or traps

and what about the multiplayer mode? are you planning to make a multiplayer version of it? this might be very cool, especially if you accomplish and amplify the items customization part. ;)

p.s. I have a stickmangames portal. if you make an improved version with multiplayer and a nice amount of items, I would definitely consider to sponsor it (but we'll have to negotiate before you post it here). let keep in touch! ^_^

Nice one! I love the fact that this shows a lot of the epic characters of stickpage's animators, all in one game. And I enjoyed the choice to make the battles a bit funny.

I'm just not getting where is the point on interacting in that way.. I mean, if I got it right, sometimes interacting you actually help the opponent to kill the character who you bet on, but if you don't interact the animation simply doesn't go any further. so the only choice you have is to interact and loose the battle.. at the same, if you need to interact to help your character, you can take your time pressing slowly and nothing will change. Basically your interaction is just pressing bottons to make the animation go on, like pressing the FFWD button on a tape player..

I also don't like the fact that you have to reload the page to re-start the game if you hadn't unlock the hall of fame at the first try..

at this point maybe it was better just to put singles battle without interaction, and without nothing to unlock, but just a leaderboard at the end. and the opportunity to replay the battles without betting.

by the way, love stickmen and like the animations in here, so I'll give you 4 stars. ;)

Thanks for the solid review bud.

the idea it's nice, but the IA it's basically not understanding everything I've tried to say, even following the guidelines very carefully (I've studied something about AI during my Philosophy degree, so I know how to approach to them).

PeltastDesign responds:

Yeah, I realized halfway that a problem with this is that the objective is so open-ended. In most text games there are objects you can expect the player to interact with, but with this premise...I couldn't really predict what the player would want to put in. And unfortunately I didn't do any play-testing.

Thanks for your feedback!
